Medical oncology focuses on treatment of cancers by administering drugs to destroy the cancer cells For best results, medical oncology is often used in combination with radiation and / or surgical oncology.

The medical oncology department has two dedicated day care centers which administer treatment providing the finest  patient experiences with best outcomes. These centres have a nurse to patient ratio of 1:3, the best in the city of Mumbai. The services are monitored by Oncology team, who are present throughout the session. There is dedicated section section for in patient admissions, with specially trained oncology nurses, along with doctors, to ensure patient convenience and the best treatment.

After completing her training in Internal Medicine (MD) from JIPMER, Puducherry in 2014, she completed her Medical Oncology (DM) training from Kidwai Institute of Oncology in 2017. She has presented multiple papers and won many laurels during her residency, including being the runner up in the TYSA-ISMPO scholarship in March 2017. She then worked with Dr SH Advani from February 2018 to September 2018. She joined PD Hinduja Hospital as an Associate Consultant in October 2018.
