Paediatric Care

Dr. Tanya Mathew Varghese is a full-time junior Consultant in Pediatrics and Pediatric ICU. She 
is committed towards improving the physical and emotional health of every patient she encounters, while being empathetic to their caregivers and mindful of their family situation. She believes in practicing medicine with utmost rationality and ethics, echoing the principles of the department and institute – keeping UpToDate with latest guidelines and practices, prescribing medicines only where necessary and keeping comfort of the child as priority as much as possible.

• Dr. Kshitij Chaudhary and his team specializes in spinal surgery for both adults and children. However, it has been our philosophy to use surgery as the last resort when other treatments aren't working and surgery is likely to have a significant benefit. We take pride in helping most of our patients return to active lives without surgery.
• Our team treats patients who need repair of spinal deformities due to scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis, infection, tumors, and trauma.

Dr. Kaleem Khan has joined us as a Visiting Consultant in the section of Dermatology with an interest in Pediatric Dermatology from the 13th of January 2025.

After completing his residency training at D.Y. Patil Hospital, Navi Mumbai, in 2009, he worked as an Assistant with Dr. Nina Madnani for over 5 years, where he gained considerable experience in treating various dermatological diseases. 

He holds a Fellowship in Advanced Medical Dermatology from Toronto Western Hospital, Canada and in Dermatosurgery from National Skin Center, Singapore. 

Dr. Parag Bhalgat has joined us as a Visiting Consultant in the section of Paediatric Cardiology with an interest in Paediatric and Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Kamlesh P. Haria has joined us as a Visiting Consultant in General Paediatrics in the section of Paediatrics with a special interest in vaccinology, infectious disease and allergy disease

After completing residency training at Bharati Hospital Hospital, Pune, in 2020, Dr. Kaustubh Mohite worked as a Fellow at the Aster Hospital, Bangalore, for over 2 years, where he gained considerable experience in treating Paediatric Pulmonology cases. Also, he has special interest in Pediatric Interventional Pulmonology and is well-versed in using minimally invasive technologies.

• Dr. Parag has completed his residency training at Sanjay Gandhi PGI Hospital, Lucknow, in 2010.
• He has seven years of teaching experience and has instructed residents and mentored clinical fellows.
• He has a special interest in exome sequencing and microarray and is well-versed in using state-of-art genetic technologies.

After completing his residency training at NAIR Hospital, Mumbai, in 1990, Dr. Pathak worked as an Professor at the Nair hospital, Mumbai, for over 30 years, where he gained considerable experience. He has several years of teaching experience and has instructed residents and mentored fellows.
