We use both general and regional anaesthetic techniques either alone or in combination. Regional anaesthesia is provided by single shot or catheter techniques and is provided by using the latest in block placement techniques.

After surgery, patients are monitored in a modern well equipped postoperative recovery care unit by specially trained nursing staff under the guidance of the Anesthesiologists. Those who need more intense monitoring for a longer period of time are shifted to the critical care unit for further management.

We run an Acute Pain Service for acute and immediate post-operative pain management of indoor patients. This is managed by a group of anesthesiology consultants along with dedicated nursing support staff.
