Dr. Sudeep Rohit Shah is Consultant Gastro-intestinal Surgeon at P.D. Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai since Jan 2001. He holds special interest in Hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery and Liver Transplantation.

He has been continuously performing advanced hepato-biliary pancreatic procedures such as liver and biliary cancer resections, biliary stricture repairs, pancreatic cancer resections, necrosectomies, surgery for chronic pancreatitis and portal hypertension surgery in addition to GI procedures like surgeries for ulcerative colitis colon cancer and bowel tuberculosis.

Additionaly, he also performs laparoscopic surgeries like laparoscopic cholecystectomy, lap liver resections and lap assisted bowel resections.

He is lead surgeon in the Liver Transplant program. The first successful liver transplant at P.D. Hinduja Hospital was carried out in October 2007 under his supervision.
