After completing his residency training at LTMGH and MC, Sion Hospital, Mumbai, in 2018, he worked as a Fellow followed by Consultant at the MCGM, Comprehensive Thalassemia Care, Pediatric Hematology Oncology and BMT Hospital, Borivali, Mumbai, for over seven years with Dr. Mamta Manglani, where he gained considerable experience in treating Pediatric Hematology and Oncology patients and Pediatric Bone marrow transplantation. He has seven years of teaching experience and has instructed residents and fellows.
Dr. Amit Jain holds a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology from July 2018-July 2020 from the MCGM, Comprehensive Thalassemia Care, Pediatric Hematology Oncology and BMT Hospital, Mumbai Borivali East, Mumbai. He also completed his Fellowship in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation from the above-mentioned institute. He has been a visiting consultant in various hospitals in western suburbs.
He was formerly at MCGM, Comprehensive Thalassemia Care, Pediatric Hematology Oncology and BMT Hospital, Mumbai Hospital, till this new position with us. Currently he has joined as Consultant with SunAct Oncology since 30th March 2025.
Dr. Amit Jain has twenty national publications and a book chapter to his credit. He is the recipient of the Pediatric Hematology, Oncology Fellowship awarded by the IAP Society, and Fellowship in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation by the MUHS University. He is one of the authors in National Thalassemia guidelines.
He is a member of the IAP and AMC. He has a special interest in Bone Marrow Transplant in Aplastic anemia. He is well-versed in using minimally invasive technologies.
