After completing her MBBS and MD Medicine from B J Medical College, Pune in 2005, Dr. Megha Sheth-Dhamne went to the United States to pursue higher education.
She completed Neurology residency from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas in 2012. After residency she pursued a Fellowship in Neuro-muscular Medicine from Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, USA in 2017.
She is American Board Certified in Neurology, Neuromuscular Medicine and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
She also worked in Singapore for a few years from 2013-2016 at The National Neurological Institute and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital before she moved back to India in 2018.
She specialises in various neuromuscular diseases such as myasthenia gravis, myopathies, myositis, CIDP and GBS and motor neuron disease.
Her other area of interest includes Neuroimmunology.
She has been actively involved in teaching Neurology residents and presents at National and International Neurology/Neuromuscular conferences. She published the largest worldwide series on COVID-19 and Guillian-Barre’ syndrome during the pandemic for which she received International recognition.
