He has been providing diagnosis and therapy of complex neurovascular diseases including:
- Intracranial aneurysms
- AVMs
- AV fistulas
- Intracranial stenting
- Carotid stenting
- Skull base tumour embolization
- Arterial and venous acute stroke therapy
- Maxillofacial malformations
- Paediatric neurovascular diseases
- Spine and spinal cord interventions
He has an immense experience of treating more than 15000 endovascular cases, which includes endovascular treatment of nearly 2000 ‘Berry’ and Giant aneurysms, 500 Brain AVMs and 200 Dural AVFs, 1000 intra and extracranial arthrosclerosis stenting.
He was Fellowship Director 2001- 2014, KEMH & GSMC (Mumbai). Vice President STNI & Congress President STNI 2018. Co-founder & Chairman of the India Neurointerventional Foundation. Director of Monsoon Meeting and Course Coordinator of “Circle of Willis and other things”. He has been wholesomely involved in spreading awareness and education in the field of INR over the last 26 years. He’s disseminated knowledge about Neuro IR in young health professionals with focus on fellowship, education, expert guidance and setting up speciality units. Active in developing about 20 Interventional Neuro Radiology departments in India and abroad.
Participates in Public awareness campaign and Conducts live virtual Interventional Neuroradiology teaching program for budding Neurointerventionsts. He has been a University teacher in Radiology and is a DNB Radiology- Empanelled Examiner.

Plenary lecture on Neuro-interventional management of venous strokes in WFITN at Venice, NOV2005 and Beijing, September 2007& ALICE 2019.
