Dr. Sachin Dharwadkar is a senior practising Ophthalmologist with 15 year experience and a speciality interest in Glaucoma management. He has been a lecturer in Ophthalmology at Rajawadi hospital in Mumbai, tutoring and mentoring MBBS and DNB students for 4 years. He has also held the position of Director, Glaucoma service at Aditya Jyot eye hospital, Mumbai for 6-8 years. He has a keen interest in visual field testing and imaging in the field of Glaucoma, authoring multiple articles in peer reviewed journals on the subject. He has been a regular faculty at Glaucoma fora nationally and has conducted numerous training and skill transfer programs in glaucoma for comprehensive ophthalmologists throughout the country.
He has extensive surgical experience and expertise in glaucoma surgeries and laser procedures and performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries. Clear patient communication and inclusive decision making with informed treatment choices are his forte along with holistic patient care.
