Dr. Jai Mullerpattan is a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine at P. D. Hinduja Hospital and MRC. He is experienced in managing a wide range of respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pneumonia, sleep-related disorders, and tuberculosis, particularly drug-resistant tuberculosis. He also manages pleural diseases such as pleural effusion, pneumothorax, and empyema.
Dr. Mullerpattan is skilled in various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including bronchoscopy with bronchoalveolar lavage, endobronchial and transbronchial biopsies, EBUS-TBNA, and pleural aspiration. He was actively involved in the management of patients with COVID-19 at Hinduja Hospital.
Dr. Mullerpattan is also actively involved in clinical research, with multiple publications and presentations to his credit.

After completing, MBBS from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai in 2003, proceeded to do his post-graduation (DNB) in Respiratory Medicine, from PD Hinduja Hospital. Also worked in the ICU for 1 year from 2010-2011.
Skilled in various procedures and performed over 3000 bronchoscopies independently. Has been a consultant in the department of respiratory medicine since 2019. Also involved in performing EBUS guided biopsies. Dr Mullerpattan is a post graduate PG guide to train students in respiratory medicine for their post graduate degree (DNB).
Dr. Mullerpattan is a member of international societies such as the European Respiratory Society (ERS). He has also been elected as a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP).
