Dr. Ayan Kumar Dey is a Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician at P. D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Mumbai, with clinical expertise spanning kidney transplantation, chronic and acute kidney disease, critical care nephrology and all modalities of dialysis.
He completed his International Fellowship in Adult Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation at the University of Toronto, Canada, training across the University Health Network, Toronto General Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital, St. Michael's Hospital and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
He secured All India Rank 1 in the DrNB (Nephrology) Exit Examination and is a Gold Medalist of the Fellowship of the College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCCM), India, having stood first in India in both the primary and final examinations.
He is a site co-investigator on international multicentre trials including FIND-CKD (New England Journal of Medicine), has authored 9 peer-reviewed publications and 2 published conference abstracts, and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Mumbai Kidney Foundation Academy
